As we deal with COVID-19 together, we’re faced with having to work from home full time. For many, this is a new situation which can be stressful, especially if the kids are home. Here are some ideas to put into practice to make the day as productive and relaxing as possible.
I’m an adventurous person in my 30’s with a somewhat stressful marketing job that requires a lot of travel. It’s a great job, and dealing with the stress has taught me quite a bit. Firstly, I’ve experienced some amazing places on my travels, many of which you don’t see in results from your typical Google search. I’ve been lucky enough to share these places with my wonderful husband, and I look forward to sharing these places + tips on travel with you.
Secondly, it’s taught me quite a bit on how to balance a stressful work life with home life. At the end of the day, we work to live - not live to work. “Turning it off” is really important, so I’ll share some ideas on this. Stress is not a healthy thing.
Thirdly, I’ve experienced many shopping wins and fails on my travels which I wanted to have a forum to express my experiences, other than a simple 5-star or 1-star review somewhere. Computers, planners, wine, makeup, clothing brands and websites, stores (on and offline!), gift ideas, recipes …. I’ll include everything I think would be helpful for you.
