Best of the Best: Besamé Cosmetics
I have been a huge fan of Bésame Cosmetics for YEARS, so long in fact that I was just sitting here shopping their website and came across the product that started my obsession years ago: Bésame Cream Rouge tins.
What truly sold me about this brand was that firstly, I am a huge fan of vintage makeup because all of the packaging was always so luxurious and well made. I still have a small collection of vintage gold compacts that I have tried (poorly) to refill over the years. Bésame doesn’t disappoint in packaging department and stays true to original trends in vintage packaging.
But okay, what about the product itself? If you’re looking for a more natural look with natural ingredients and a luxurious experience, Bésame is it. You just have to try it to understand. Here are a few products that will make you fall in love with this California brand as much as I have:
CAKE MASCARA
Mascara is one of the worst cosmetics for you generally because of the harsh chemicals within, so I was happy to see this product from Bésame. Quoting their website, “Especially made for sensitive eyes, Bésame’s Cake Mascara is the cleanest form of mascara on the market. This water-activated product doesn't harbor or grow bacteria once it dries back down to a solid “cake”. Made from a natural wax that bends with your skin and lashes so it doesn’t flake, peel, or clump.” I love that you can buy new cake replacements and keep the tin. The product comes with a small applicator which works well but I purchased the spoolie / angle brush accessory to make it a bit easier for this newbie to apply. Plus it doubles as eyeliner!! 2 for 1??

CREAM ROUGE
“Love at first application” is how I would describe my experience with Bésame’s cream rouge tins. Beautiful coverage, easy application, natural look - guaranteed to get you a ton of compliments. And in keeping with the 2 for 1 theme that Bésame often offers, these are great for lips or eyes as well, and the tins are refillable. SO AMAZING!
RETRACTABLE TRAVEL LIP BRUSH
For a girl on the go quite often for work, I tend to like putting a good travel accessory to the ultimate test. This is my very favorite travel lip brush of all time. Not only does it have a beautiful, luxurious weight to it but the brush itself is easy to clean and top quality - no fall-out, and applies product with precision. It feels so good to whip this beauty out - you don’t want to hide it either.
REFILLABLE COMPACTS
With a choice of 10 colors, you can own your very own vintage inspired compact that is of such high quality, you’ll have it for a very, very long time. I’m a huge fan of low-waste products and I love how this feels, how it looks, and the powder itself is just lovely. For someone with sensitive skin, this is perfect - nothing to worry about.

No doubt, Bésame Cosmetics has been considered The Best of the Best by people in-the-know for quite a long time but I’m happy to be able to share my experience with their products in hopes their brand awareness will continue to grow for years to come.
This is true luxury, worthy of a weary worldwide traveler’s attention.
