Great Find: Carol's Daughter Products for Hair Happiness
CVS is really upping their beauty products game lately, and they should now that Target has completely revamped their entire hair, skin and makeup section. As usual, I stopped by CVS for one thing and left with a whole lot of things, including these two new bottles by Carol’s Daughter. My generally frizzy and dry hair loves this stuff, particularly the leave-in conditioner.
Carol’s Daughter Sacred Tiare Leave-In Conditioner has WOWed me severely. I put it on after a good wash and let my hair air dry on a weekend. When it fully dries my hair is soft and shiny - completely transformed. It makes prepping my hair for work the next day a breeze.
I’ve also enjoyed Carol’s Daughter Hair Milk which I spray on what they suggest as “tired hair” in order to “wake it up.” It works! It really does!
On the second or third day of a wash, my hair is flat and lifeless but when I use the refresher spray, it regains its body and fullness without being oily or feeling weighed down with product. I hate that.
But in truth, I’m late to the Carol’s Daughter party as this brand got their big break by none other than Mrs O herself, Oprah Winfrey, back in 2002. Since then their success has skyrocketed and now the brand is a part of the L’Oreal family with some serious distribution backing its all-natural goodness.
These products are great for all types of hair textures and for those (like me) with sensitive skin, I’ve been using these two products a lot and have not had any issues with breakouts.
I suffer from the “winter dries”: Dry hands, dry lips, dry hair. I’m really excited to have found this particularly because the more I straighten my curly hair in the winter, the more dry it seems to get even though I put a ton of heat spray on it.
I strongly suggest giving this a try even if you don’t suffer from the Winter Dries. Carol’s Daughter products smell amazing and will bring life back to any dry ‘do.
