Great Find: Dagne Dover Bags & Accessories

Attention-to-detail is a phrase often overused by many, and truly applicable by just a few. I came across Dagne Dover by chance as I was looking for MY perfect gym bag. It’s rare to determine quality by just a photograph but it is evident that the Dagne Dover design team appreciates the subtleties of quality styling elements finishing really well-made pieces.

“Bags That Get It, So You Can Get After It.” I friggin’ love that. Dagne offers styling that appeals to all sexes, purposes and interests… at a premium, but it’s worth it if you are tired of buying crap. For me, I’m tired of buying crap in the world of gymwear and gym accessories. I’m tired of it. I’ve OVERSPENT on crap in this category and I’m done. I’m Done!

Landon Carry-All Duffle c/o Dagne Dover

I purchased the Landon Carry-All Duffle in Dark Moss, XL because I gym at lunchtime and so I’m changing out of business casual attire into my gym wear, showering, and re-dressing to go back to work. In order to do this within an hour, organization is key especially if I want to arrive back at work with my hair still on fleek as it was upon my arrival at 9am. I purchased some extra zip accessories as well: a toiletry bag and some air mesh pouches for the sweaty shirts post-workout. Included with the duffle is a shoe bag and a smaller clip mesh pouch that’s big enough for an iPad.

The inside features two long/wide zip compartments and two side compartments for bottles, towels etc. On the front is a easy-access little pocket for keys, a lock or a cell phone and a roller bag strap for use in an airport. The color selection is fabulous and I still cannot believe how well-done their color-matching is on the hardware and embellishments. This is a somewhat casual design but it’s so well done that it’s completely appropriate for use at work or for work travel.

While Dagne does a great job with their shopping site showing you how big each product is with images of the inside and videos of models holding the product, I think this XL size was a bit too big for me - I could have passed with a L. Still I’m very happy with this so far; I’m not shoving things in this bag. Everything is placed with a purpose. There is a spot for everything I need and I’m not wrestling trying to find my headphones or deodorant.
